Culinary Concoctions!

There are times when I’m shifting through the fridge for leftovers to finish off. Ok, there are lots of times. This often results in a mixture not many care to try, even though, to me, they’re damn delicious. Far better than anything you’d find on an Applebee’s menu!

The Garden Salad

With this delectable, and healthy, meal, I took a little of each of the following ingredients and simply tossed them together:

Rice Pilaf, chopped Spinach leaves, Corn from the cob, a [sliced] slice of deli Chicken breast, and 1/4 fillet of breaded Tilapia. All of which are lightly, and I do mean lightly, drizzled in Balsamic Vinaigrette.

A crazier concoction I had “created” is a delicious sandwich from a less exciting time when I was in Chicago. The ingredients are noted in the photo. Loosely titled the SPC Sandwich.

  1. i guess the biggest problem i have with western countries is the food. i seldom find what i like. e.g. i dont like salad, i prefer cooked vegetables.

    • There are plenty of people here in the states that love cooked veggies as well. I, on the other hand, really enjoy a raw, fresh vegetable. Especially grape/cherry tomatoes. That burst of juice on the first bite can be intense! What’s your favorite dish, Fiona?
